Previous project experience has shown that a common logo strengthens the sense of community of all the participants as it is used as a symbol of cooperation and identification. For this reason, it was decided to organise a competition among all countries to create a 'Literary Heroes' logo. The art department of each school presented the requirements of the common logo and students submitted their designs to their own school first. Once a winner had been chosen in each school (see entries below) , all students participating in the project had the chance to vote for their international favourite which will be used for a number of things including letterheads, t-shirts, book cover etc.
